5th & 6th Graders


The CAFE is open!  We serve up a full buffet filled with live worship, large and small groups that will fill your spirit up with God's Word.  There is also a place to fill your bellies up with food to tantalize your taste buds and games to tickle your funny bone.  If you are a 5th or 6th grader come and experience CAFE 56.  We meet both worship times on the second floor of the "Go Center".

The local church can be extremely helpful in pointing Generation Next to Jesus. Yet, the responsibility does not rest solely on the church.  Church leaders, adults, parents, & kids (yeah, kids) always hav a responsibility to the next generation.  The Psalmist wrote, "We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done."  Psalm 78:4  We are commissioned to disciple the next generation & tell them about the majesty of God.

Our Current series in Cafe 56 is called Generation Next.  Through our large and small group times, we will be illustrating to the Cafe 56ers how to become great godly leaders for the next generation so they too will obey the Lord.  So, we invite all "tweens" that are in the 5th & 6th grade to come check out Cafe 56 and learn how to become the type of leader that God has created you to be.

In today's society tweens are students that are not kids and not yet young adults.  It is a growing segment of our society and yet, do too thier age they are not encouraged to accomplish Hard or difficult task.  If you are like me and most of this age group I want to rebell against that and say YES THEY CAN!!  In Cafe 56 for the next several weeks we are studying a book called Do Hard Things, by Alex and Brett Harris.   As we look at this study our desire is to challenge this generation to rethink what preteens are capable of accomplishing if they are given the opportunity. 

So if you are tired of people saying you can't do something for God because you are too young, this series is for you.  Come join us in the LOFT every Sunday morning at Cafe 56 as we try to to rebell against low expectations and do something great for God!
